Chapter 92

How Great Are Your Works!

This Sabbath psalm celebrates the goodness of praising the LORD, reflecting on his steadfast love, faithfulness, and mighty works. It contrasts the apparent flourishing of the wicked with their ultimate destruction, while the righteous are pictured as strong, planted, and fruitful in God's courts. The chapter ends in confident testimony that the LORD is upright, a trustworthy rock in whom there is no injustice.

Psalm 92 joins worship, wisdom, and assurance. It teaches that praise is fitting not only because God acts mightily in the present, but because his rule ultimately exposes the emptiness of wicked prosperity and secures the enduring fruitfulness of the righteous.
