About Atomic Bible

A Bible reader built around orientation.

Atomic Bible is a calm way to read the Berean Standard Bible while seeing where each passage sits in the larger whole. It is not a notes app, commentary shelf, or chat interface. It is a reader that keeps the text first and the surrounding structure close at hand.

Why Atomic Bible uses the Berean Standard Bible.

The BSB is modern, readable, and unusually practical for a public web reader because its text has been dedicated to the public domain.

Public domain

Free to read and share.

The official Berean Bible terms say the Berean Bible and Majority Bible texts were dedicated to the public domain on April 30, 2023, and that all uses are freely permitted. That lets Atomic Bible present the full biblical text openly instead of building around quotation limits.

Translation process

Open tables, reviewed decisions.

Berean describes the work as a new English translation based on available manuscripts and source-language materials. Their process combines public feedback on translation tables, Bible Hub and Discovery Bible team work, consistency checking, proofing, and final advisory committee review.

How Atomic Bible treats it

Text first, summaries second.

The BSB wording is presented as Scripture text. Atomic Bible's authored summaries, roles, and structure notes are separate reading aids, meant to clarify context without replacing the passage itself.
