Chapter 15

Who May Dwell on Your Holy Mountain?

This psalm asks who may dwell near the LORD and answers with a portrait of whole-life integrity rather than ritual technique. The one fit for God's presence is marked by truthful speech, neighbor love, moral seriousness, covenant loyalty, and financial justice, and the chapter ends by promising stability to the person shaped in that way.

Psalm 15 functions like a wisdom entrance liturgy within the Psalter, showing that nearness to God is inseparable from upright life among other people. It gathers ethics, worship, and community into one vision, teaching that the path into God's dwelling is walked through integrity, not performance alone.
