Chapter 3

Trust in the LORD with All Your Heart and The Blessings of Wisdom

Proverbs 3 calls the son to remember wise teaching, trust the LORD wholeheartedly, honor him in wealth, and receive even his discipline as a sign of love. It then celebrates wisdom as more precious than riches, woven into creation itself, and concludes by showing how wisdom produces steady security, neighbor-love, and a life that stands under the LORD's blessing rather than his curse.

As the third chapter of Proverbs, this passage broadens wisdom from warning and rescue into an integrated way of life before God. It joins trust, humility, generosity, teachability, and ordinary righteousness to a vision of wisdom as both God's ordering principle in creation and the path of flourishing for his people.
