Job Humbles Himself before the LORD

The LORD interrupts with a direct question about whether the faultfinder will go on contending, and Job responds with shrinking silence rather than renewed defense. He confesses his insignificance, places his hand over his mouth, and says he has no further answer to give.

A1nd the LORD said to Job: 2“Will the faultfinder contend with the Almighty? 3Then Job answered the LORD: 4“Behold, I am insignificant. How can I reply to You? 5I have spoken once, but I have no answer —
