God’s Glory Leaves Jerusalem

The cherubim spread their wings with the wheels beside them, bearing the glory of the God of Israel above them. The glory rises from the city and stands over the mountain east of Jerusalem, signaling decisive withdrawal. The Spirit then carries Ezekiel back to the exiles in Chaldea, and once the vision ends he tells them everything the LORD had shown him.
