The Fellowship of Believers

The believers devote themselves to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer. Awe comes over everyone, and the apostles perform many wonders and signs.

T42hey devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43A sense of awe came over everyone, and the apostles performed many wonders and signs.

All the believers are together and hold everything in common. They sell possessions and goods and distribute them to anyone in need.

44All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45Selling their possessions and goods, they shared with anyone who was in need.

They meet daily in the temple courts and from house to house, breaking bread and sharing meals with gladness and sincerity of heart. They praise God, enjoy the favor of the people, and the Lord adds to their number daily those who are being saved.

46With one accord they continued to meet daily in the temple courts and to break bread from house to house, sharing their meals with gladness and sincerity of heart, 47praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
