⁷On that day David first committed to Asaph and his associates this song of thanksgiving to the LORD: ⁸“Give thanks to the LORD; call upon His name; ⁹Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; ¹⁰Glory in His holy name; ¹¹Seek out the LORD and His strength; ¹²Remember the wonders He has done, ¹³O offspring of His servant Israel, ¹⁴He is the LORD our God; ¹⁵Remember His covenant forever, ¹⁶the covenant He made with Abraham, ¹⁷He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, ¹⁸‘I will give you the land of Canaan ¹⁹When they were few in number, ²⁰they wandered from nation to nation, ²¹He let no man oppress them; ²²‘Do not touch My anointed ones!
