He let no man oppress them;
God allowed no one to oppress them and rebuked kings on their behalf.
It shows God’s active protection over the wandering fathers.
7On that day David first committed to Asaph and his associates this song of thanksgiving to the LORD: 8“Give thanks to the LORD; call upon His name; 9Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; 10Glory in His holy name; 11Seek out the LORD and His strength; 12Remember the wonders He has done, 13O offspring of His servant Israel, 14He is the LORD our God; 15Remember His covenant forever, 16the covenant He made with Abraham, 17He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, 18‘I will give you the land of Canaan 19When they were few in number, 20they wandered from nation to nation, 21He let no man oppress them; 22‘Do not touch My anointed ones!
