Psalms 14:6
You sinners frustrate the plans of the oppressed,
What it says
The wicked would shame the plans of the poor, but the LORD is the poor person's refuge.
What it is doing
This verse contrasts human contempt with divine shelter.
In context
1For the choirmaster. Of David. 2The LORD looks down from heaven 3All have turned away, 4Will the workers of iniquity never learn? 5There they are, overwhelmed with dread, 6You sinners frustrate the plans of the oppressed, 7Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come from Zion!
