A Grave Assigned

The Servant is assigned a grave with the wicked and yet associated with the rich in His death, even though He has done no violence and spoken no deceit. Nevertheless, it is the LORD's will to crush Him and make His life a guilt offering, and through that very offering the Servant will see offspring, prolong His days, and accomplish the LORD's pleasure.

After the anguish of His soul, the Servant sees the fruit of His work and is satisfied, and by His knowledge the righteous Servant justifies many because He bears their iniquities. Therefore the LORD grants Him a portion among the great, because He poured out His life to death, was numbered with transgressors, bore the sin of many, and continues to make intercession for them.
