Hosea 10:3
Surely now they will say,
from Retribution for Israel’s Sin, Hosea 10:1-15
What it says

The people will soon admit they have no king because they did not fear the LORD, and a king could not help them anyway.

What it is doing

This verse shows political authority collapsing when covenant reverence is absent.
