Paul’s Greeting to Timothy

Paul identifies himself as an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God according to the promise of life in Christ Jesus, and he writes to Timothy as his beloved child. He speaks grace, mercy, and peace over him from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
